Marquis Investments Purchases Autumn View

February 15, 2013 (Marietta, GA). Crown Holdings Group’s multifamily affiliate, Marquis Investments, announced it has acquired Autumn View apartments from FR Owner, L.L.C. The property which is located in Marietta, GA was purchased with financing that was provided by BB&T. Autumn View has been renamed Marquis View and consists of 224 units. Marquis View is located next to Marquis Place on Franklin Road off the Delk Road exit on I-75.

 

The property will be managed by Star Residential. With the addition of Marquis View, Marquis Investments has approximately 5,000 units under its ownership. Marquis Investments Purchases Kings Bridge

December 20, 2012 (Roswell, GA). Marquis Investments, Duke Homes and Duke Land Group, affiliates of Crown Holdings Group, announced that they have joined forces and acquired over 100 acres at the intersection of GA 400 and Holcomb Bridge Road in one of Atlanta, Georgia’s fastest growing suburbs of Roswell, GA. Kings Bridge was sold by North Fulton I, LLC and was purchased with cash and bank debt from Northstar Realty Finance Corporation. The property contains an apartment complex which has been renamed Marquis Trace. Marquis Trace apartments are a 312 unit complex made up of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments as well as 2, 3 and 4 bedroom townhome apartments. Located near the Chattahoochee River, Marquis Trace has a pool and a clubhouse facility on its lakefront.

Marquis Chase Refinance

November 30, 2012 (Atlanta, GA). Marquis Investments announced that it has refinanced Marquis Chase apartments with Wells Fargo. Marquis Bridge, which was sold by Blue Valley Apartments, Inc., was purchased with cash and bank debt from CMFG Life Insurance Company. This property is located on N. Hairston Road in Stone Mountain, GA within minutes of Highway 78, I-285, and I-85. The 240 unit complex is made up entirely of 2 bedroom apartments with a mix of different floor plans. This is one of the most attractive communities in the immediate submarket, equipped with a swimming pool and sun deck, private balconies and patios, ceiling fans, sunrooms, and nature hearth fireplaces in some units. The property is one mile from Memorial Drive, which provides a wide array of retail offerings.

This property is located inside the I-285 perimeter on Briarwood Road between the I-85 access road and Buford Highway. The 192 unit complex is made up entirely of 2 bedroom apartments and has a swimming pool, sun deck and playground. The property is one mile north of North Druid Hills Road and Lenox Road with easy access to I-85 and is minutes away from nearby Lenox Mall, Georgia Tech, Emory, Oglethorpe University and Georgia State.
