July 17, 2014 (Tucker, GA) Marquise Investments, LLC sold Marquise Glen, its 174 unit property located in Tucker, GA. Marquise Investments purchased Marquise Glen for $2,610,000 on November 4, 2010.
The units sold for a total of $7,050,000 on July 17, 2014. “This purchase and sale validates 3 R strategy of Recapitalizing, Renovating and Repositioning our properties.” -Dan Miles

Marquis at Lenox

August 2013 (Buckhead). Marquis Investments refinanced Marquis at Lenox its 192 unit multifamily property located in North Buckhead. Marquis’ returned all of its investors’ equity and the property continues to increase in performance. Financing was provided by UBS with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital facilitating the transaction. Blair Schlossberg, a Managing Member of Marquis Investments, commented, “This property exceeded our proforma for investors and shows proof of the efficacy of our “3R Strategy.”

Marquis Parc & Marquis Forest

June 27, 2013 (Tucker, GA). Marquis Investments purchased Southern Place and Southern Pines which consists of 663 units located in the Tucker submarket of Atlanta. The properties have been renamed Marquis Parc and Marquis Forest, respectively. These properties were purchased with a new strategic foreign equity partner and financed by Northstar Realty Finance Corporation. The properties will be managed by Star Residential. Blair Schlossberg, a Managing Member of Marquis Investments, stated, “The properties were purchased at a favorable entry point and will allow for us to renovate and manage for significant investor return.”

Marquis 9 Property Portfolio Acquisition

June 7, 2013 (Atlanta, GA). Marquis Investments acquired 9 properties containing 1,187 units in the Buford Hwy/North Druid Hills corridor from Wilkinson Real Estate Advisors, Inc. Moshe Manoah, a Managing Member of Marquis Investments, commented, “This ideally located portfolio will perform extremely well under our proven “3R Strategy” of Recapitalizing, Renovating and Repositioning multifamily properties.” The acquisition was accomplished with equity from Israel and bank debt from Northstar Realty Finance Corporation. The 9 properties feature unusually large 1, 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans and were 97% occupied at closing.

 

The properties will be managed by Star Residential. The apartment complexes, formerly owned by Tempo, will be renamed Marquis at Brookhaven, Marquis Crossing, Marquis Station, Marquis Gardens, Marquis Villas, Marquis Square, Marquis Terrace, Marquis Village and Marquis Grove.
